Practice Post: How are you? Who are you?
As soon as possible, do a first practice post- no, this doesn't count toward the "big five" posts per book- we're just doing a test before school's out to make sure you can post successfully. Tell me a little about yourself- your interests, extracurricular activities, of course, your favorite book of all time, and anything else you'd like to share.

Hi, I'm Taylor Sharp! I am a Cheerleader and a softball player. I like to hang out with my friends, and I like to swim. My favorite books of all time are The Kite Runner, and The Other Boylen Girl.
My name is Michael Bacon. I'm veyr much into music, I'm a member of Bedford's symphonic band, and I'm into drama and theater. I enjoy writing in my free time and I have a series of mystery stories going. My favoirte book of all time is Twlight by Stephenie Meyer.

Hey, my name is Chris Johnson. Music is the focus of my life. As a tuba player in the symphonic band, a bass player in the jazz band, ann a member of the drumline in marching band, though now I am a drum major, my musical life keeps me quite busy. This summer marching band is keeping me quite busy. My favorite book is most likely a music book, but for a novel I would have to pick The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Hello, my name is Nicole. I'm an active member of the music department as well as the art department. I'm also in NHS and try to do my part in the community to help everyone. I love H.G. Wells. There as so many good books that it's hard to pick just one, however, Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury is one of my favorites.

Corey is my name, and I really don't like writing about myself. Maybe it's because of the egotism involved in listing one owns accomplishments and activities. Oh well, I'll do what I can.
Anyway, my interests aren't entirely interesting. I enjoy classical music, jazz, and rock. All pretty much equally. I compose on the side-mostly classical stuff however I do a bit of jazz for the combo that I run. Extracurricular activities? Oh boy. Marching band, jazz band, concert band, jazz combo, NHS, mock trial, etc etc... I listed most of them at least. Favorite book? Hmm, awfully a tough question. You have to understand that the latest books I've been reading are textbooks about composition (Music Theory, harmony, and the like). Gosh...Ill have to say one of these - Tale of Two Cities, Catch-22 or the Three Musketeers. Thats about it.

I'm in Marching Band, Lacrosse, Symphonic Band, Jazz Combo, NHS, Zooteens, and tons of other stuff that I can't even name. I have many books that I would call my favorite, but I really love the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Wow- so it appears that we have a group of baton-twirling,swimming, acting, writing, robot-building, shopping, cheerleading, soccer and volleyball-playing, vacationing, kick-boxing, rollercoaster-riding, singing and dancing, sleeping, plural-tense-loving, boating, golfing, artists who like and dislike reading various books. Excellent! I love it when that happens...(I am truly excited for this class. I'm not using verbal irony in this instance- sometimes it's hard to tell in blogoworld.)
